Style Me Like

Partners

Your products, styled the way people actually discover them.

Style Me Like is a generative personal-styling platform. A shopper starts with a reference — a person, a character, an era, a place, a feeling — and we translate that reference into a new, wearable outfit for her actual body, size, budget, and life. We never copy the original look.

Demo mode. The catalog is made of sample pieces from fictional brands. Nothing is for sale, and demo clicks are never counted as revenue. Product placements, feeds, and affiliate links are not live yet — this page is where partnership interest is being collected for launch. Read how we make money

How product discovery works

Four steps, in plain language.

  1. The reference.

She starts with inspiration: a celebrity, a fictional character, an era, a Pinterest board, a TikTok clip, a TV show's wardrobe.

  2. The translation.

Style Me Like interprets the style language behind the reference — silhouette, palette, proportion, attitude — and designs new outfits from it. Translation, not duplication: we never reproduce the original outfit.

  3. The personalization.

The brief carries her constraints: size, budget, occasion, lifestyle. The output is sketched for her actual life.

  4. The receipt.

She gets a Style Receipt — a shareable summary of the styling logic, the pieces, and (when shopping goes live) where each piece can be bought.

Why this product is different

Translation, not duplication.

Most “shop the look” tools do one of two things: they find the exact garment in the photo (duplication — which fails when it’s vintage, custom, or sold out), or they show “similar items” with no understanding of why the look works (which fails the shopper).

Style Me Like does neither. We extract the style language — why the outfit reads the way it does — and build new outfits from it. A 2002 UPN heroine’s attitude becomes a 2026 work wardrobe. A red-carpet silhouette becomes a brunch outfit at a real budget. The reference is the starting point, never the answer.

The brand-side consequence: because the system styles from language rather than from photos of specific garments, it can place any retailer’s real inventory into a generated look — the catalog is not limited to items that happen to resemble a celebrity’s outfit.

Personalization

What the brief carries.

Live today in the /create brief flow and page CTAs: the reference (person, character, era, place, or feeling), size, budget, and occasion.

Designed for launch (not yet live, not claimed as features): body and fit nuance beyond a size input — proportion, fit preferences, what the shopper wants to emphasize or downplay; lifestyle and context — work dress codes, climate, daypart, rewear; and price sensitivity as a persistent rule, not a one-time input.

Where brands and products can appear

Three buckets. We don't mix them.

LIVE

  • Twelve /style/ story pages — editorial stories translating references (90s Black sitcom fashion, Y2K workwear, quiet luxury in extended sizes) into style language. These are the placement context: the audience reads here. No product placements exist in them today, and none will be added while the site is in demo mode.
  • The /discover surface — style-world cards and the challenge block. Discovery surface only; no commerce.
  • The homepage Style Receipt sample — a labeled sample receipt, illustrative of the format only.

BUILT — NOT YET ACTIVE

  • /shop (“Shop the edit”) — the route exists and carries the affiliate-disclosure sentence. No product grid, no prices, no buy links. It stays out of search until a real grid ships.
  • /disclosure (“How we make money”) — the affiliate policy is written: commission nature, independence of recommendations (“It doesn't change what we think fits the brief”), sponsored-labeling policy, demo-mode note. Currently draft, awaiting counsel review.
  • The /create brief flow — the input side of personalization exists; the shoppable output side does not.

PLANNED

  • Shoppable product cards inside Style Receipts and the /shop grid — affiliate links, real prices from retailer data, outbound links marked rel="sponsored".
  • Retailer redirect with click counting — our own redirect so clicks are counted transparently.
  • Retailer/catalog feed ingestion — real inventory matched to generated looks by the translation engine.
  • Sponsored discovery — not offered, not priced, not built. See “What we don't offer” below.
The shopper

Built for a specific audience, not a large one.

Style Me Like is built for fashion-interested U.S. consumers — especially women roughly 28–45 — who already use celebrities, fictional characters, eras, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, and TV fashion as style inspiration, but need those references translated into outfits for their real bodies, budgets, and lives.

The early audience is deliberately centered, not incidental: Black women; women in their 30s and early 40s; midsize, plus-size, and non-sample-size bodies; body changes and style reinvention; workwear, occasion, streetwear, and vintage-thrift dressing; budget-conscious shoppers; culturally specific fashion references — including the Black TV and film fashion the launch archive is built on.

We are pre-scale and pre-revenue. What we offer partners is early positioning inside a product whose audience definition is unusually specific — not reach. There are no measured metrics to cite here: no user counts, no traffic, no sessions, no growth rates.

Fit and inclusivity

Fit is an input, not an afterthought.

The brief is designed around size, budget, and occasion from the first screen — not as filters applied after the “real” styling is done. Plus-size, midsize, and non-sample-size bodies are part of the launch audience definition, not a later expansion.

We make no inventory claims: while the catalog is in demo mode, there are no real products behind any size, price, or availability statement on the site. When commerce goes live, size-range and price coverage will be reported from real feed data — not asserted in advance.

Partnership opportunities

What's actually on the table.

PLANNED — interest being collected

Affiliate partnerships

Standard affiliate relationships for launch: product links inside Style Receipts and the /shop grid, commission on resulting sales, our own redirect for transparent click counting, outbound links marked rel="sponsored". Recommendations stay independent of commission — commission is never part of how looks are ranked. No affiliate program is live. No links, no tracking, no payouts exist today.

PLANNED — interest being collected

Product feeds

Retailer catalog feeds (format to be agreed at integration design) ingested so the translation engine can match real, in-stock inventory to generated looks. Because the engine styles from style language rather than photo-matching, feed items are placeable across many references — not only items that resemble a specific celebrity outfit.

PLANNED — discussion only

Retailer and catalog integrations

Deeper integrations (availability and price sync from retailer data, per the disclosure's stated design) are a launch-phase conversation, not a current offering. No integrations exist today.

PLANNED — design-stage

Product discovery collaboration

How a retailer's assortment shows up inside generated looks: category mapping, style-language tagging, feed quality requirements. A working conversation for launch partners, not a self-serve product.

POSSIBLE — case by case

Editorial collaboration

Co-created editorial around style translation (for example, a brand's archive or aesthetic read through the Style Me Like lens). No sponsored editorial product exists; anything here is a direct conversation, labeled as such, and subject to the same non-affiliation discipline the site's /style/ pages already carry. No pay-to-rank, ever.

FUTURE — currently unsupported

Sponsored discovery

Sponsored placements inside generated looks or discovery surfaces do not exist, are not priced, and are not being sold. If a sponsored product is ever introduced, it will be labeled, separated from organic recommendations, and disclosed under the same policy as affiliate links. Do not inquire about buying placement today — there is nothing to buy.

The line that governs this whole section: no pay-to-rank. Commission never determines what the system thinks fits the brief.

What we ask from a partner

The launch-readiness checklist.

  1. An affiliate program we can join (network, terms, commission structure) — or a direct partnership proposal.
  2. A product feed we can ingest (format and update cadence to be agreed at integration design).
  3. Accurate, current price and availability data — our disclosure already commits us to pricing “from retailer data,” so feed quality is a shared obligation.
  4. A point of contact for feed issues, out-of-stock handling, and product data questions.
  5. Patience with sequencing: counsel finalizes /disclosure → real product grid ships on /shop → affiliate links go live → the PLANNED labels on this page flip one by one. No bulk launch.
